SPRING ISOLATORS

Spring isolators are especially well suited for machinery that generate large shock type vibration, or strong low frequency vibration. They are a great choice for many other manufacturing and industrial applications. They are commonly used to isolate vibrations from metal stamping presses, forging presses, forging hammers, and other impact-generating machinery. They also work well for centrifuges, gensets, dynamic balancers, and other vibration-producing equipment. Additionally, they can be installed directly beneath many structures like machinery foundations, helipads, sensitive laboratories, gymnasiums, and computer labs to protect these from external vibrations.

Spring isolators are applied to operate at low natural frequencies, typically from 1,5-6hz. With signifcant isolation at 1,4 times the frequency of the disturbing vibration. They can effectively isolators up to 98% of most disturbing high frequencies vibrations, which are also the most damaging to machinery. Their linear stiffness remains constant regardless of loading rate providing consistant performance in large shock vibration applications.
