Socitec’s elastomer isolators, or mounts, are designed mainly for applications that require vibration isolation and acoustic damping. They provide excellent noise isolation across a broad frequency range.

While these isolators are primarily used for vibration isolation, certain models can also handle shock absorption. Widely used in the naval industry, elastomer isolators are also ideal for other industries like transportation and defense.

    Their resistance to temperatures ranging from -30°C to +70°C.

  • Elastomer isolators are highly effective for isolating structure-borne noise produced by rotating machinery, including generators, pumps, motors, compressors, turbines, and fans.

  • Elastomer mounts are ideal for vibration isolation and acoustic damping, and in applications where the environment is not too aggressive, while wire rope isolators are better suited for passive shock and vibration isolation, particularly in tough or demanding environments.
