Low Frequency Elastomer Isolators BFN45/BF45 Mounts

These multi-directional elastomer isolators are designed for primarily for naval use as they ensure excellent protection against underwater/combat type shocks, shipboard environments/machinery, and/or harsh environments. However, these can be used in road transportation and other environments where shock and vibration mitigation is needed as well.  

  • The VBF45 marine elastomer isolators feature 1 and 4 fixture points for static loading per mount of 67 to 2400 lbf 
  • The VBFN45 marine elastomer isolators feature 1 and 4 fixture points for static loading per mount of 67 to 2400 
  • The VBFJ marine elastomer isolators feature 1 and 2 fixture points for static loading per mount of 22 to 290 lbf
  • The VBFL marine elastomer isolators feature 1 and 2 fixture points for static loading per mount of 9 to 27 lbf
  • The VBFM marine elastomer isolators feature 1 and 4 fixture points for static loading per mount of 9 to 27 lbf

Properties

  • The VBFN45 utilized natural rubber, and the VBF45 utilizes polychloroprene.  
  • Based on their displacement capabilities, these are ideal for use in MIL DTL 901e testing. 
  • Multi-directional shock/vibration isolation 
  • Displacement under shock up to 2.75 in (depending on model) 
  • Transmissibility: Q <10 
  • Temperature range: -20°F to +210°F 
  • Highly adaptable: special models on request (materials, size and interfaces, etc.)
